On Friday morning, I proceeded to the Craig Thomas Discovery & Visitor Center to workout my backcountry permitting with the Park Rangers. The Building is open daily from 8am to 7pm and you can work with the Rangers during that time. I got to the Visitor Center around 8:30
First day in the Tetons. Getting adjusted to the elevation by spending most of the day around the 10k foot mark as well as a short hike to Rendezvous Peak.
Summary A day of hiking with friends and the dog in the Mt Baker National Forest/Mt Baker Wilderness areas along the Ptarmigan Ridge Trail. This was a non-technical hike that is very easy to do with a dog. This is generally an easy hike and does not have much elevation
